High Notes Avante is a registered charity using artistic expression to inspire, give hope and connect those touched by mental illness. We produce image-raising concerts & events and offer online and in-person programs using the power of the arts to help those affected move forward on higher notes.

Our Vision:

Compassion, Understanding, Respect and Connections through the arts for everyone touched by mental illness. 

Our Mission: 

To inspire, give hope and connect those touched by mental illness through artistic expression.

Our Registered Charitable Objectives Are:

To relieve conditions associated with mental illness by offering art productions directed towards the alleviation of loneliness and isolation, as well as to reduce the associated stigma. To promote mental health by providing information from mental health professionals and testimonials from artists, well-known personalities and others who suffer or have suffered from mental illness.

High Notes Avante is based in Markham, Ontario, which is on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe. These territories are covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. High Notes Avante acknowledges the longstanding relationship Indigenous peoples have with this territory. We are committed to advancing reconciliation and work to promote the wellbeing of Indigenous peoples in Canada through raising awareness and increasing our knowledge of Indigenous culture and history.
